| Achieved my goal for today (and my holiday): 500km! Unfortunately I couldn't fly my set task completely (did 325km of it) because of the incoming high clouds in the north, so I went a bit further east and tried to make 500km. Difficult day for me, definitely in the beginning (first 2 hours I flew quite slowly because of the low cloudbase) and also at the end where I pushed myself to the limit to get every last bit out of the last thermals for my 500km. Tired but happy after almost 8,5 hours of flying! :-) |
